Parsons Brinckerhoff and Rosales & Partners were appointed last month to carry out the conceptual design of the new link. The aim is to create an iconic connection that will enable people to move easily between the downtown area and Lake Erie.

Designs for suspension, arch and cable-stayed bridges are now available online for public comment.

The concepts were also presented at a public meeting earlier this month, with a particular focus on the cable-stayed design.

The bridge is being developed by Cuyahoga County together with the City of Cleveland Planning Commission and the non-profit Group Plan Commission.
