Ney & Partners together with Panta Ingenieure and Frenz Landschaftsarchitekten won the competition to design the Große Weserbrücke. The suspension bridge will have a total length of 216m and will cross the River Weser in the east of the old town of Bremen.

The competition, which was organised by Bremen’s Office for Roads & Traffic (ASV), offered a prize of approximately US$38,000 for the winning design.
