The green corridor along the 216km phase one route from London to the West Midlands will include seven million trees and shrubs, 33km2 of new and existing wildlife habitat and tailor-made homes for animals.
The green bridge illustrated in the announcement for the initiative is described as a way of helping people and animals cross the line safely.
