Eiffage reports that the final section of the new Grenland Bridge in Norway has been hoisted into place.
The new 600m cable-stayed bridge will double an older structure to mitigate traffic challenges in near Porsgrunn, a town in the south of the country.

The 330m main span consists of a box girder with an orthotropic deck, while the southern viaduct is a composite box girder. The concrete towers are 149m tall.
Systra designed the bridge on behalf of Eiffage Genie Civil, with Norconsult taking third-party control of the design.
