Improvements to a cable-stayed bridge will increase capacity and ease congestion on a city ring-road, according to The Royal Commission for Riyadh City.

The commission has issued a tender for the development of Wadi Laban Cable-stayed Bridge in the south west of the city. The prestressed concrete bridge was completed in 1997. It measures 763m, with two spans of 179m and a centre span of 405m.

The deadline for bids is 19 November at 9am. To obtain tender documents, go to the Royal Commission for Riyadh City’s Competitions page (link opens in new tab).
