On 5 April, the spans between piers one and two, and piers 12 and 13 were installed, bringing the length of completed deck to 900m.
The PerGenova joint venture between Salini Impregilo and Fincantieri is also preparing to raise the last four sections of the deck to complete the bridge.
Genoa Mayor Marco Bucci has announced that the deck will be completed by 21 April.
