China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group celebrated the completion at the end of April of a cable-stayed bridge designed to showcase the charm of its city location.

Siyang Taoyuan Bridge on the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal (Jinghang Yunhe) in Suqian City, Jiangsu in the east of the country is a 1km cable-stayed road bridge with a main span of 385m. The bridge towers are 100m high, with a waterdrop vase shape to recall the region’s canal culture and the culture of the sea goddess Mazu.
