A ceremony was held on Friday 7 July to mark the milestone in the 55km project. The main structural section of the project is 29.6km long, made up almost 30km of bridges, an immersed tube tunnel and an artifical island.
The eight-year project has claimed several records including the longest cross-sea bridge.
