The lift and pedestrian and cycle bridge will connect the Kirchberg plateau with the suburbs of Neudorf and Cents in Luxembourg City. The steel deck structure will supported by cables that will be curved in plan view and in elevation.
Protection of the valley’s wildlife and flora is essential and so the bridge has been designed without intermediate pillars; support platforms are only foreseen at the two ends of the bridge.
