Ramboll Sweden has beaten two other teams in a limited design competition for a 200m-long pedestrian and cycle bridge in Helsingborg, Sweden.
The curving cable-stayed bridge will link Helsingborg Ferry Terminal and a major new development emerging on the former docks.
The design, which was produced by a multidisciplinary Ramboll team in Sweden and the UK, beat entries from Dissing + Weitling and Leuschenring & Rundqvist.
The city council said that the Ramboll proposal provided the best pedestrian and cycle link as well as being in character with the setting and taking advantage of the views.
