The historical bridge in the Chana Prefecture of northwest Crete collapsed on 25 February following heavy rainfall from Storm Oceanis during the weekend.
The 111-year-old Keritis Bridge, which consisted of three masonry arches, had been closed by the local authorities due to the floods.
At the time of the collapse a local TV reporter was on site talking live about the situation in the area.
